How can I automate the login of a POP account hosted at AZC?

In general, you should consult your software's online help or ask the Technical Support of the vendor of your software for such info, since AZC has no affiliaton with the manufacturer of any desktop applications running on your PC.

Nevertheless, as a courtesy, we will provide an illustrated how-to example for the popular Microsoft Outlook 2000 and Microsoft Outlook Express 6 email client software in this section. Even you don't use either Outlooks, we urge you to review the list to get some ideas:

Outlook 2000

  1. Open Outlook 2000, then click on the Tools option (see screen shot).
  2. Click on "Accounts..", highlight a POP account of yours hosted at AZC, and then click on the Properties button on the right. (see screen shot).
  3. Make sure the Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing is checked. (see screen shot).
  4. Then click on the Servers tab (see screen shot).
  5. Make sure the Remember password is checked (see screen shot).
  6. Click on the Tools again, then Options.., and then click the Mail Delivery tab (see screen shot).
  7. Make sure:

  8.     a) that Check for new message ... option is checked
        b) and the checking frequency is set at 14 minutes. (see screen shot).
  9. close your Outlook, and then re-open it.
